Terms of Use

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of savingsnote.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated by SavingsNote, a sole proprietorship ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

2. What SavingsNote does

SavingsNote publishes coupon codes, promo codes and deals offered by independent online stores, along with information about those stores. We don't sell products, process payments or fulfill orders. When you shop, you buy directly from the store under its own terms. The Site is free to use, and we may change, suspend or stop any part of it at any time.

3. Coupons and offers

  • Offers are set by stores, not by us. Stores can change, limit or end them at any time without telling us. A code may have conditions such as minimum spend, exclusions, new-customer requirements, regional limits or one-use limits.
  • We check offers and show when each one was last verified, but we can't guarantee that any offer is accurate, available, or will work for your order. The store's checkout and terms decide whether a discount applies.
  • Prices, discounts and store details on the Site are for information only and may be out of date.
  • Codes marked "Exclusive" are provided for SavingsNote visitors. Please use them as the store intends.

4. Affiliate links

Many links on the Site are affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a commission from the store or its affiliate network, at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

5. Third-party stores and sites

The Site links to websites we don't own or control. We aren't responsible for their content, products, services, prices, delivery, returns, customer service, security or privacy practices. Any dispute about an order is between you and the store. Please read each store's terms and privacy policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • generate artificial or automated clicks on store links, or otherwise interfere with affiliate tracking or commissions (for example with bots, scripts, cookie stuffing or click farms);
  • scrape, crawl, copy, frame or republish the Site's content or offer data in bulk, other than through ordinary search engine indexing;
  • probe, attack, overload or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure, or get around any security or access controls;
  • use the Site for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading, or to break any store's terms;
  • pretend to be SavingsNote, or suggest that we endorse you or your products.

We may block access to anyone who breaks these rules.

7. Our content

The Site's design, text, graphics, the SavingsNote name and logo, and the selection and arrangement of content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial shopping. You may share links to our pages. Any other use requires our written permission.

8. Trademarks and brand owners

Store names, logos and trademarks shown on the Site belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify the stores and their offers, which is generally permitted as nominative fair use. SavingsNote is an independent coupon site. Unless a page clearly says so, we're not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any store we list.

If you represent a brand and want to correct information, add official offers, or ask about how your brand appears on the Site, email us at hello@savingsnote.com. We'll respond promptly.

9. Your submissions

If you send us coupon codes, corrections, feedback or ideas, you confirm you have the right to share them. You also give us a free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, publish and adapt them on the Site and in our business, without payment or attribution. Please don't send confidential information or anyone else's personal data.

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, email hello@savingsnote.com with: your contact details; a description of the copyrighted work; the URL of the content you object to; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent or the law; a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We'll review the notice and remove or disable infringing material where appropriate.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and all content and offers on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. These include warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that any offer will be valid.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site, any offer listed on it, or any third-party store or website. This includes a code not working, an offer changing, or a purchase you make. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to USD 100.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you're a consumer in the EEA, UK or another country with mandatory consumer protections, those protections still apply to you, and these Terms don't take away any rights you have under them.

13. Indemnity

If you break these Terms or the law when using the Site, you agree to cover reasonable losses, costs and claims that we suffer as a result, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Disputes

If you have a concern about the Site, please contact us first. Most issues can be resolved quickly and informally. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the mandatory laws of the country where you live, including your right as a consumer to bring proceedings in your local courts.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the Site after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

16. General

  • If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't waived it.
  • These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Site.
  • We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to anyone who takes over the Site.
