Affiliate Disclosure

Effective date: October 15, 2026

In short: SavingsNote is free because stores may pay us a commission when you buy through our links. You never pay more, and payments don't change whether we list an offer or how we verify it.

How we make money

Most links to stores on SavingsNote, including "Get Code", "Get Deal" and "Visit store" buttons, are affiliate links. When you click one, the store or its affiliate network (such as Impact, CJ, Rakuten Advertising, Awin or Partnerize) records that you came from us. If you then make a qualifying purchase, the store may pay us a commission, usually a percentage of the order. The price you pay is the same as if you'd gone to the store directly.

Our independence

  • SavingsNote is an independent coupon site. Unless a page clearly says so, we're not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the stores we list, and we are not their official website.
  • We list offers based on whether they're valid and useful, whether or not a store pays us. Some listed stores may not pay us anything.
  • Within a store's page, offers are ordered by how useful we think they are: pinned or exclusive offers first, then codes, then by discount size. Commission rates don't decide that order.
  • If a store ever pays for a placement, such as a featured spot on the homepage, we'll label it "Sponsored" or "Ad".

Our advertising

We advertise SavingsNote on search engines such as Google and Bing, including for searches like "[store name] coupon". These ads lead to our own coupon pages, not to the store's website, and they are run only where the store's affiliate program allows it. Our ads are for SavingsNote, not for the store itself.

Exclusive codes

Some codes marked "Exclusive" are created by a store specifically for SavingsNote visitors through our affiliate relationship.

Why we tell you this

We want you to know how the Site is funded. This disclosure follows the US Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255), as well as similar rules elsewhere, such as UK advertising rules and EU consumer law.
